Data Deletion and Access Revocation

Sharny & Julius — IRIS

Data covered by this process

When you interact with our Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube channels, IRIS may store:

  • Your public username, display name, and platform or channel ID
  • Comments and direct messages sent to our owned accounts
  • Associated post or video identifiers and conversation context
  • Replies drafted or published in response

Request deletion of stored data

Email us and include the platform plus the username, channel name, or account name you used so we can identify the relevant records.

Request deletion

We will verify and process a valid request within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law. We will delete associated comments, messages, reply records, and platform identifiers from active IRIS systems, except records we must retain for legal or security reasons.

Revoke YouTube and Google access

  1. Disable Automatic YouTube replies in IRIS Settings.
  2. Use Disconnect beside each YouTube channel in IRIS Settings.
  3. Visit your Google Account connections and remove IRIS to revoke its Google OAuth access completely.

Revoking access stops IRIS from retrieving or changing YouTube data in the future. It does not automatically delete data already stored by IRIS; send the deletion request above if you also want that data removed.

Revoke Facebook or Instagram access

In Facebook, open Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites and remove our app. In Instagram, open Settings → Apps and Websites and revoke access.
